I don't bother training units, I build my division templates as soon as I have enough army experience ie in the first year or so and then never touch them again, pretty much ignore supply, forget about efficiently recruiting, I had 300k men training at the same time with an army in the field of 1.6m. Took about a year to crush them and that was mostly just lugging my troops across Russia while they sat on another undefended border.īefore you think I'm amazing or something, this is my first HOI and my first two games. Then Japan declared, apparently to take my far east territory. Didn't move a single unit over it, crushed them in a couple of months. Then Poland declared war on me with my entire undefended border. Won the war, gave all the land to Poland. Clearing out Italy and Spain declares war, never mind, beat them in a month while continuing my invasion of Italy. Next game as Russia, on Ironman, Germany never made it into Poland and I liberated France in a month. First game as Italy I conquered most of the world, albeit after the tutorial so it was on easy I guess.
